As the Fantasy Football playoffs begin, it’s time to make crucial decisions about which players to start in your lineups. For many Fantasy managers, it’s win-or-go-home time, and with bye weeks behind us, the depth of your roster will be tested. The following players are ranked outside the top 24 in the Fantasy Footballers Rankings but are expected to crack that top 24 this week and could help you win your matchup.
Sincere McCormick, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
McCormick has impressed with back-to-back solid performances, totaling 142 yards on 27 carries against tough run defenses like Kansas City and Tampa Bay. This week, he faces a more favorable matchup against the Falcons, who recently allowed 6.1 yards per carry to Minnesota’s running backs. With Zamir White ruled out for the season and Alexander Mattison’s role limited, McCormick is set to lead the backfield and should be started over players like Tyrone Tracy Jr., Travis Etienne Jr., and D’Andre Swift. Be sure to start him in your flex position, as the game is on Monday night.
Adam Thielen, WR, Carolina Panthers
Thielen has been excellent since returning from injury, registering back-to-back top-20 performances. He’s benefitting from the continued growth of second-year quarterback Bryce Young. With 21 targets in the past two games, Thielen faces a Dallas defense that ranks in the bottom 10 against fantasy wide receivers. Given his consistent role in the offense, Thielen should be a staple in your lineup for Week 15 and beyond.
Darnell Mooney, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Mooney caught six passes for 142 yards last week and has been the Falcons’ top receiver this season. While he hasn’t scored since Week 9, he’s set to break that drought against the Raiders, who allowed Jalen McMillan to score twice last week. Mooney is a bold touchdown pick and a solid flex option, especially with the game on Monday night.
Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions
Williams has averaged 70 yards per game since returning from suspension. This week, he faces the Buffalo Bills in a high-scoring matchup with a 54-point over/under. Williams’ consistent target share, paired with Buffalo’s struggles against wide receivers, makes him a must-start.
Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins
After a slow start, Waddle has caught seven passes for 99 yards per game over his last three outings, adding a touchdown. He faces a Houston defense that struggles against wide receivers, making him a solid flex option with plenty of upside this week.
