The fantasy football postseason is finally here as Week 15 kicks off with no more bye weeks, bringing all 32 teams into action. This is a critical time for fantasy managers to scour the waiver wire for impactful additions, especially with many players stepping into larger roles due to injuries. If you’re in the playoffs, now is the time to lock in your roster and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Key Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 15

Patrick Taylor Jr. (RB, 49ers): Taylor is poised to become a significant fantasy option after Isaac Guerendo exited Week 14 with a foot injury. With the 49ers facing the Rams on Thursday, Taylor’s workload could skyrocket, making him a priority pickup.

Tank Bigsby (RB, Jaguars): Bigsby impressed in Week 14, handling 19 touches and scoring 13.2 fantasy points. With a solid share of the Jaguars’ backfield, he’s a rare late-season find for managers in need of running back depth.

Braelon Allen (RB, Jets): Stepping in for Breece Hall, Allen logged 15 touches against the Dolphins and remains a solid pickup if Hall’s knee injury lingers. Teammate Isaiah Davis, who also saw action and scored, is another consideration.

Adam Thielen (WR, Panthers): The veteran wide receiver has seen a resurgence, posting two strong games in a row with 21 targets and over 43 fantasy points combined. His chemistry with quarterback Bryce Young makes him a viable flex option, especially against the Cowboys.

Pat Freiermuth (TE, Steelers): Freiermuth continues to deliver at a challenging position, averaging over nine points per game and scoring in his last two outings. He’s a must-add for teams needing tight-end help.

Other Notable Pickups

  • Anthony Richardson (QB, Colts): Despite tough matchups, Richardson’s dual-threat ability makes him a stash-worthy option for the playoffs.
  • Aaron Rodgers (QB, Jets): Facing a Jaguars defense that has struggled against quarterbacks, Rodgers is a strong one-week streaming option.
  • Christian Watson (WR, Packers): With two 100-yard games in recent weeks, Watson offers upside, especially while Romeo Doubs is sidelined.
  • Sincere McCormick (RB, Raiders): Emerging as the Raiders’ lead back, McCormick’s increased workload makes him a low-cost addition.

Deep Waiver Wire Options

Managers can also consider players like Isaiah Davis (Jets), Kimani Vidal (Chargers), and Keon Coleman (Bills) for additional depth. At tight end, Juwan Johnson (Saints) is worth a look with increased playing time following Taysom Hill’s injury.

As always, monitor injury updates closely and adjust your roster accordingly. With high stakes in play, a smart waiver wire move could be the difference-maker this week.
