A team of eight ESPN analysts collaborates to compile weekly quarterback fantasy football rankings, offering a diverse and comprehensive perspective. These contributors—Matt Bowen, Mike Clay, Tristan H. Cockcroft, Daniel Dopp, Eric Karabell, Liz Loza, Eric Moody, and Field Yates—combine their expertise to deliver rankings that are informed, accurate, and actionable.

The rankings are released every Tuesday, considering players’ individual skills, roles within their offenses, and the difficulty of their weekly matchups. They are further updated throughout the week to reflect breaking news, injuries, or other developments that may impact player performance.

In Week 13 of the 2024 season, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leads the rankings. Rated first by nearly all analysts, his stellar play and a favorable matchup against Philadelphia contribute to his top average ranking of 1.1. Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles secures second place with an average score of 2.3, underscoring his consistency despite facing a tough Baltimore defense. Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills ranks third, showing the analysts’ confidence in his ability to perform against San Francisco’s formidable defense.

Fourth place goes to Washington’s Jayden Daniels, a dynamic playmaker with a promising matchup against Tennessee. Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield takes fifth, reflecting his steady improvement and potential to shine against Carolina. Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow, known for his precision and composure, is ranked sixth as he prepares to face Pittsburgh.

Seventh-ranked Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers is expected to exploit Atlanta’s defense, while Denver’s Bo Nix, emerging as a reliable quarterback, secures eighth place. Brock Purdy of San Francisco, overcoming injury concerns, earns the ninth spot with an average of 9.5 against Buffalo. Rounding out the top ten is Indianapolis’ Anthony Richardson, noted for his athleticism in a matchup against New England.

Lower rankings include veterans like Matthew Stafford and Kyler Murray, whose performances are affected by inconsistent play or challenging matchups. Patrick Mahomes, surprisingly, falls outside the core rankings due to varying analyst opinions. These rankings provide fantasy football enthusiasts with a valuable tool to navigate weekly matchups effectively.
